With the world moving at a faster and faster pace it’s no wonder we are all feeling the pressure to just keep up. Work, family and home can certainly take it toll. We may not have a remote control that allows us to press pause and stop the world long enough to catch up; we can however take a mental break.
What I like to call a mental vacation. Whenever you feel yourself letting the pressures of life get you stressed out, simply press pause (in your mind of course). Sit back turn off all phones and devices and close your eyes while you breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale very slowly through your mouth. Try to only concentrate on your breath moving in and out of your body.
Visualize yourself at your favorite vacation spot whether it’s the beach or at a cabin in the mountains and enjoy 10 minutes of instant stress relief. Enjoy the video here and see how quickly you let go of all your stress. Repeat as often as needed throughout your day!
